Friday was a chill day after a week of long classes and work hours.
Saturday I decided to make a no day. Which is where very little happens, a little cleaning is about it.
Sunday I went shopping and ate lunch at the park with my friend Ai, her son Ryusei, her son’s friend Mitsuki, and my mate Matt from Fuji. After lunch and a bit of shopping, mostly for new clothes for Ryusei cause he Read the rest of this entry »

For the record, it is pretty cold here right now. It kind of came out of no where. I’d say no more than a month ago I was wearing shorts, and having a nice time outside. Where as last night, I went out in a light Jacket and pants and realized that that was a really poor decision. As in, it was about 38 degrees out. Of course it is warmer here than back home in general, but it sure did catch me off guard.
On the note of temperature, I might add that houses in Japan pretty much don’t have central heating, at all. You usually just heat one or 2 rooms of the house, and spend time in those, and wear plenty of layers. On top of this, I really don’t think Japan insulates their structures either. But I really think they should, insulation is in general affordable, and it not only keeps your home warmer in the winter, but it also keeps your home cooler in the summer. Neh, it’s cold, but at least I live in a middle apartment, because of this I haven’t turned my heat on once, which is nice. At night and when I wake up it is generally pretty chilly in my place but I usually don’t notice because I’m under covers or hop right in the shower, so when it matters, my apartment is warm(enough).

Well, it is Wednesday and I’m due for an update. Also, since I seem to have found myself with several hours with nothing to do, because my last class didn’t show, I don’t have an afternoon class, and the only other thing I have to do at work today is attend meetings in about 4 hours, I find myself Read the rest of this entry »

So I have an intense dislike of beans and peas, as many of anyone reading this already know. Well, I thought I’d vent a bit about today’s school lunch.

I had a great weekend, busy and full of interesting stuff.
Friday, a soccer game! We won again(4-0), and I did much more to help my team this time than in my other games. I need to tell the coach that I’m better on defense than offense, I found this out last footsal game I had, it was the last position Read the rest of this entry »

First off, this should have been posted like a week ago.. but it wasn’t and I’m not sure why. ANyway…
So, I had a 3 day weekend, it was quite nice.
I hung out on my own for the better part of Friday and Saturday. Made me semi sad that I didn’t go out or dress up for halloween, but they didn’t have the costume I wanted to wear anyway. At least no where around here did, I probably could have found it had I gone to Tokyo.

Last Friday I played that soccer game I was talking about and, we won! Yay. I’m easily probably the worst player on the team, and did little to help other than run around like crazy and flail wildly at the ball, but we still won, 3-0. It was fun, and a good Read the rest of this entry »

Well, I’ve been putting it off for a while now. I’ve got alot to write about on this subject and an entire journal of experiences along with a camera full of pictures. I’ll have to search out my own online photo album to start uploading pics to so I can make this page a bit more entertaining. I still need access to the blog’s FTP site in order to change the theme. With all that being said, I hope to have Read the rest of this entry »

Well, in about the last month I’ve gone to see 2 live music shows. Both were at the same place, with an audience of no more than 50-80 people at either. The shows were good, one band was called Read the rest of this entry »

Well, things are settling down, life is getting quiet again. I’ve no longer got the burden of moving weighing over me, now I’ve only got to finish sorting my apartment out. I’ve put away all of my clothes, bought all of the necesarry things in order to survive, and now I only need to put too much stuff away in an apartment that is rather small, it is making me second think my desire to keep all of the books that I’ve read.
